Get Organised!

Life as a stay-at-home-mummy is definitely different... Good intentions of cleaning, cooking and scheduling things to happen ‘on time’ go out the window for unplanned wake ups from naps, feeding times, dirty nappies and simply needing attention elsewhere.

I decided to create a few printable sheets (being the stationery lover that I am!) to help me schedule in some of the jobs that can be easily forgotten. Please feel free to download and use them to organise your own home.

The first printable is a {meal planner} which can help eliminate waste in your household as well as assist you in organising your weekly meals. Utilise your freezer for meats (especially when on special) and buy fresh vegetables and fruit each week. Keeping a list on the fridge/freezer door helps you to use all your fruit and veg as well as reducing the times to ‘open/shut’ the door!

The next printable is a {weekly chore planner} which has been organised into 6 days (rest day on Sunday) and rooms of the house. This way you’re able to schedule in what’s happening and cover the whole house in 6 days!

A trick I try to abide by here is to do a quick pick up in the morning or evening so that you’re starting each day with a tidy house. Just a few minutes to put everything back in its place, then the house is always ready for any unexpected guests!

Finally, I created a diary like page, a {week at a glance planner} to schedule in your weekly appointments and activities. Use this on the kitchen fridge so you and your husband both know and remember events throughout the week. Synchronise your week and set alarms into your iphones or computer calendars to remind you as well!
(My hubby even sets a reminder to clip his nails!)
{Shhhh…}

Titus 2:3-5

 "3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands,
so that no one will malign the word of God."
